Retro Real Madrid Jerseys: The Classic Shirts and Final Kits
Real Madrid's retro shirts are mostly white, as the home kit always is, and the most sought-after come from their run of Champions League wins: 2014 in Lisbon, 2016 in Milan and 2017 in Cardiff. We stock more than 20 retro Real Madrid designs from 2006/07 to 2017/18, including several long-sleeve shirts and the bold purple, black and teal away kits.
Retro shirts on FashionOwn are new shirts made in past designs, not vintage or match-worn originals. Here are the highlights, described from our own product photos.
The white home shirts
-
Real Madrid 2006/07 Home Long-Sleeve Retro Soccer Jersey: white long-sleeve with grey and black panels down the sides, from the season Real Madrid won La Liga.
-
Real Madrid 2009/10 Home Retro Soccer Jersey: white with black shoulder stripes and a gold line across the chest.
-
Real Madrid 2016/17 Home Retro Soccer Jersey: white with a polo collar and navy cuffs and trim. Real Madrid won La Liga and the Champions League that season.
The Champions League final shirts
Real Madrid won the Champions League four times in five seasons between 2014 and 2018. We stock shirts with final text from three of those finals:
-

-
Real Madrid 2015/16 Home (UCL Final) Long-Sleeve Retro Soccer Jersey: white long-sleeve with grey shoulder stripes and the Milan 2016 final text. Real Madrid beat Atlético again, on penalties.
-
Real Madrid 2016/17 Away (UCL Final) Retro Soccer Jersey: purple with white trim and the Cardiff 2017 final text on the chest. Real Madrid beat Juventus 4–1.

Real Madrid 2017/18 Away (Third Kit) Retro Soccer Jersey: teal with a dark pixel pattern, the World Champions badge on the chest and a number 12 Champions League badge on the sleeve.
-
Real Madrid 2009/10 Away (Third Kit) Retro Soccer Jersey: the 2009/10 third kit.
How to choose
- For a famous night: one of the three final shirts.
- For the classic look: a white home shirt. The 2016/17 polo-collar design is the easiest to wear every day.
- For something different: the black 2011/12 or teal 2017/18 shirts.
- For colder days: Real Madrid is one of our deepest ranges for retro long-sleeves.
Keeping a white shirt white
Wash a white shirt with whites or light colours only, inside out on a cold, gentle cycle. Skip bleach, which can yellow polyester and damage prints, and fabric softener. Hang it to dry out of strong sun, and store it clean. Our guide to storing jerseys explains why that matters.
Sizing, names and returns
Retro cuts vary by era, so check the measurements on each product page and size up if you're in between. On products that offer it, you can add a name of up to 12 characters and a number of up to two digits for free; personalised shirts can't be returned. Unused, unprinted shirts can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
