Anyone who has sat through a February evening kick-off knows the shirt is only half the outfit. The other half is whatever keeps you warm without covering the badge entirely. That's what football outerwear is for.

What's in the collection

Our outerwear collection covers three kinds of layer:

Windbreaker, tracksuit or hoodie?

A windbreaker is the most useful single layer: light enough to wear over a shirt, it keeps the wind off, and it can stay open to show the badge. It won't make you warm on its own in real cold, so layer under it.

A tracksuit is the travel-day choice: comfortable, coordinated and easy. Wear the jacket on its own with jeans, or the whole set on the way to a game.

A hoodie is the most casual of the three and the warmest, but it covers the shirt completely. It's a good pick for weekends rather than matchdays.

Layering for a cold match

  1. A thin base layer.
  2. Your shirt, ideally a long-sleeve jersey or a relaxed-fit Fan Version with room underneath.
  3. A windbreaker or track jacket, left open so the badge shows.

If you're layering over a slim Player Edition shirt, size the jacket for the shirt plus base layer, not just for you.

Sizing outerwear

Jackets need to fit over whatever you wear underneath, so size them with that in mind. Check the size chart and sizes available on each product page, compare the chest measurement with a jacket you already own, and size up if you're between sizes or plan to layer heavily. Some outerwear comes in a limited range of sizes, so check before you set your heart on a design.

A note on the reversible windbreaker

The reversible windbreaker is two jackets in one: black with gold sleeve stripes on one side, red with a large Chinese knot motif on the back on the other. If you only buy one layer, it's worth a look.

Care

  • Close zips before washing.
  • Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle; no bleach.
  • Air dry rather than tumble drying.
  • Don't iron badges or prints.

Delivery and returns

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, most arrive within 7–14 business days, and shipping is free on all US orders. Return conditions are in our Refund Policy.

Frequently asked questions

Is a windbreaker warm enough for winter?

On its own, usually not. A windbreaker blocks wind; for real cold, layer a long-sleeve shirt and a base layer underneath.

Should I size up in football jackets?

If you'll wear a shirt and base layer underneath, or you're between sizes, yes.

Do tracksuits come with pants?

Our tracksuits do; the product photos show both pieces. Windbreakers and hoodies are sold on their own unless the product title says otherwise.
