National Team Jerseys: How to Choose a Country's Shirt
A national-team shirt works differently from a club shirt. You might support a club every week, but a country's shirt tends to be tied to tournaments: a summer, a run, a single goal. That's why people who don't follow a national team week to week still own one, and why the right shirt often depends as much on the moment as on the team.
Find your country
We group national-team shirts by region:
- Europe: Germany, Spain, France, Portugal, England, Netherlands, Croatia, Italy and more.
- South America: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, Ecuador, Chile and Paraguay.
- North America: Mexico, USA, Canada and Jamaica.
- Africa: Morocco, Algeria, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana and South Africa.
- Asia: Japan, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
Tournament shirts
National teams often launch new kits around major tournaments, so most of our current national-team shirts are the ones made for the 2026 World Cup. They're collected in World Cup 2026, and our World Cup 2026 guide goes into them in more detail.
A tournament shirt keeps its meaning long after the final whistle. For most people, "the 2026 shirt" will always mean that summer, whatever happens next.
Home or away?
Home shirts carry a country's traditional colours and are the most recognisable choice: a gift for someone who supports that country, or the shirt to wear to a watch party. Away shirts are usually bolder and less common. If you're choosing a country you don't have a personal connection to, pick the design you like best. Nobody minds.

Special editions
Some countries also have special edition shirts outside the regular home and away kits, for example the Canada 2026 WC Special Edition Red Jersey – Player Edition or the Croatia 2026 Voltage Navy Special Jersey – Player Edition. Some special editions are concept designs rather than kits worn in matches, so read the product description. Our special editions guide explains the difference.
Retro international shirts
Past tournament shirts are some of the most popular designs in football, and some of the most recognisable. Our range includes the Argentina 1986 World Cup Home Retro Jersey (Argentina won that tournament), the Brazil 1994 World Cup Home Retro Jersey (Brazil won in the United States) and the France 1998 World Cup Home Retro Jersey (France won at home). These are new shirts made in past designs, not vintage originals. More in our retro guide.
Sizing and fit
National-team shirts come in the same two cuts as club shirts. Player Edition shirts are slim and match-style and run small, so size up if you're between sizes; our Player Edition pages note they're primarily designed for display or framing. Fan Version shirts have a regular, relaxed fit. Check the size chart on each product page against a shirt you own, measured flat across the chest.
Printing a name and number
Where the product page offers it, you can add a name of up to 12 characters and a number of up to two digits, with a preview before it goes in your cart. Printing is currently free. Personalised shirts can't be returned, so check the spelling, especially with names that have accents or unusual spellings.
Buying for a watch party or as a gift
- A home shirt in a Fan Version is the easiest gift: recognisable, comfortable and forgiving on size.
- Skip the printing if you're not sure of the size, so it can be returned if it doesn't fit.
- For a keepsake, a Player Edition in XL or 2XL with a name and number looks great in a frame.
Delivery and returns
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, most arrive within 7–14 business days, and shipping is free on all US orders. Return conditions are in our Refund Policy.
